If you still remember with the action series that tell the story of a masked hero who rides a motorcycle that resembles a grasshopper? Yup, this time the author will discuss about Kamen Rider. Although it is called Kamen Rider (masked rider), however as the series develops, there is also a masked hero who didn't ride a motorcycle. 1. Kamen Rider Black

Some of you might be familiar with the name Black Steel Knight. This name is a translation of Kamen Rider Black. Kamen Rider Black is the first Kamen Rider to air in Indonesia. This Kamen Rider aired in 1993 - 1994 and was being rerun in 2004. This Kamen Rider is very well known in Indonesia and almost all of fans of Japanese culture familiar with the character, Kotaro Minami. 

2. Kamen Rider Black RX 

This series is the sequel of the previous series. This Kamen Rider is the most popular Kamen Rider in Indonesia and was aired in 1994 - 1995 after its predecessor. This series is the first Kamen Rider series whose character is using sword. This Kamen Rider is also the first series with “power up” concept which was later adapted by the next Kamen Rider series. 

3. Kamen Rider Super-1 

In Indonesia, this Kamen Rider was aired after Kamen Rider Black aired in 1995. However, in Japan, this Kamen Rider is actually the predecessor of the two most popular Kamen Rider series in Indonesia, Kamen Rider Black and Kamen Rider Black RX. 

4. Kamen Rider Kuuga 

This Kamen Rider is one of the most popular Kamen Rider series in Indonesia and aired in the afternoon. This series aired in 2002 - 2004. What makes this Kamen Rider series unique is the change in colors of the costume which have four types of colors: red, blue, purple and green. These four costumes have different types of weapons in each colors. 

5. Kamen Rider Ryuki 

Kamen Rider Ryuki is the first Kamen Rider series that uses a card. The Kamen Rider transformation in the series, that aired in 2006 and being rerun in 2007-2008, was done by inserting a card into their belt. What makes this series unique is there are many Kamen Riders who compete and fight against each other.
