5 Differences Between Naruto's Baryon Mode and Ichigo's Final Getsuga Tenshou!

5 Differences Between Naruto's Baryon Mode and Ichigo's Final Getsuga Tenshou!

Let's compare the form of Baryon Mode Naruto with Ichigo's Final Getsuga Tenshou! As we all know, Baryon Mode is a single-use form in Boruto that Naruto Uzumaki and Kurama can use. This form is the last option to fight against Isshiki Otsutsuki. However, the consequence of turning into this form is also large where Naruto had to lose Kurama. In the middle of the fight against Isshiki Otsutsuki, Naruto showed a new form that has never been seen before, with the risk of death for himself. In Boruto chapter 52, it was revealed that this new form is called Baryon Mode. This mode was also briefly explained to result in the death of the user, Naruto. This also happened to Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach, where he had to use the Final Getsuga Tenshou to defeat Aizen . As for the side effect, Ichigo also had to lose his status as a God of Death for a while. So, which of the two forms is stronger? Check out the article below!

1. Usage Duration

In this aspect, the Getsuga Tenshou Final won a landslide victory over Baryon Mode. This mode has one of the phases, where Ichigo is still using his normal Bankai mode with the difference that his zanpakuto turns into a chain sword gauntlet. In this form, Ichigo can still move freely without fear of running out of duration. His usage time only decreased drastically after he released his true power. Meanwhile, Baryon Mode must be used as soon as possible as soon as it is activated. Naruto must give as many attacks as possible to the opponent because chakra continues to be drained while this mode is still running. If not used properly, Naruto will go down first.

2. Requirements and Training Methods

There are certain conditions for accessing these two forms. In the case of the Final Getsuga Tenshou, Ichigo must fully accept getting stabbed by Zangetsu himself. If the god of death did not feel the pain of being stabbed by his zanpakutou , it would mean that his training had been successful. Meanwhile, the requirements for Baryon Mode are arguably more difficult but do not require long training. The reason for that is because this form is the Bijuu's pure ability. If the Tailed Beast within didn't accept his Jinchuriki (human host) at all, how could he possibly want to use a form that could kill the beast? Naruto could access this power himself because Kurama was ready to die to defeat Isshiki and the fact that Kurama is already very close to Naruto and his family.

3. Recovery Methods

So far, only Ichigo has managed to regain his strength again after using the Final Getsuga Tensho. The method itself is still the same as when Ichigo made his debut, namely using a spirit sword made from a combination of the spiritual power of all the Gotei 13 captains. The stab by the sword stimulates Ichigo's latent power to manifest back his god of death form. As for Naruto, the case itself has not been shown how to overcome it. Theoretically, he could become a Jinchuriki for another Bijuu . However, the possibility itself must be zero considering that Naruto is already bonded to Kurama. The method of resurrecting the Bijuu itself is uncertain because the case is different from the Bijuu's death in general.

4. Each Form's Abilities

We could say that these two forms are both capable of drastically increasing the user's physical strengths, as Naruto and Ichigo are even able to dominate their main enemy who normally can't be defeated, even attacked by the strongest fighters combined at once. However, Baryon Mode has a special effect where every physical contact Naruto makes will cut the target's lifespan, while the Final Getsuga Tenshou itself does not provide any additional effect other than increasing Ichigo's attack power.

5. Side Effects on Physical Body

Not only they lost their powers, but these two forms also overwhelm the user's body physically and mentally. Ichigo, who has used his last form, will faint and gradually begins to lose his ability to see spirits. This effect will continue until all the power of the god of death is gone. For now, Naruto hasn't lost any physical side effects other than he fainted due to Kurama's sudden passing. Before that, Kurama had warned that Naruto will no longer have the strength of a superhuman without his Bijuu . So that's the 5 advantages and disadvantages of Naruto and Ichigo's new forms. So, which one is the more powerful? If you find this interesting article, share it with your friends.
